about

Of all the disciples, I’ve always related to Peter the most. One minute he’s cutting off the ear of a soldier coming to arrest Jesus, the next minute he denies he even knows Jesus. But despite his faults, Jesus loved Peter and made certain he knew it. I pictured Peter going back to the garden after Jesus had departed for the last time, looking up at the stars, thinking about everything that happened over the last 2 months and wondering "Now what do I do?" and longing to see His face just one more time…then hearing a still small voice whisper in the wind saying 'Trust me, Peter, everything's gonna be alright…I’m here and I’ll never leave you'.
